Kurt Angle Speaks Out – TNA Improvements, WWE Return
Kurt Angle recently spoke with dailystar.co.uk about the improvements in the TNA product and a possible WWE return. Here is what he had to say…
On a Possible WWE Return: “I’m really happy. It’s why I signed a long-term deal a year ago. The number one question I get asked is: ‘When are you going back to WWE?’ I don’t plan on it but I never say no. I am treated well. I have more freedom to do other things too, so it’s a win-win for me and for Impact Wrestling.”
On TNA’s Current Product: “Lots of good things have happened this year. A lot of talent has risen up – Bobby Storm and Aries. Now it’s not just Kurt Angle, Sting, and A.J. Styles. There are young guys. The revival of Samoa Joe is amazing.”
Hulk Hogan Returns To TNA IMPACT NExt Week
Hulk Hogan is set to return next week on iMPACT!. Hogan will appear in the opening segment, where Sting and several top faces in the company will call out the Aces & Eights.
– As we noted earlier here on the website, while there was initial excitement that Brooke Hogan’s “star power” would bring something to iMPACT!, there is now said to be resentment towards her.
Ex-WWE Diva Debuts On IMPACT
Taryn Terrell, who worked as Tiffany in WWE, made her debut on iMPACT!! Thursday night. Terrell was the special referee for the Knockouts Title match between Madison Rayne vs. Miss Tessmacher. As noted above, Tessmacher beat Madison to win the title.
New Knockouts Champion
Miss Tessmacher won the TNA Knockouts title on this week’s iMPACT! telecast. She defeated Madison Rayne in a rematch from Hardcore Justice.
